TOPOGRAPHICAL MAPS OF CYPRUS – Revised Second Edition

The revised second edition of the publication containing 104 maps of the Troodos Mountains and Akamas Peninsula is ready. It is slightly bigger than A4, landscape, spiral and the scale is 1/25,000. The maps are based on the UTM grid, WGS84, compatible with GPS and each one covers 5x7 square kilometres. They can be used for Mountain Biking, Trail Running, Hiking, exploring…

The maps are separated into 12 distinct regions starting from west to east as follows:

2. Polis to Paphos Forest
3. Ezousa Valley
4. Paphos Forest
5. Wine Growing Region (Krasochoria)
6. Troodos Forest
7. Pitsilia Region
8. Macheras Forest
9. Stavrovouni Forest
10. Hilly Region West of Larnaca
11. Xeros and Diarizos Valley
12. Tylliria Region

They contain a host of useful information such as contours, heights, roads and tracks, villages, churches and mosques, forests and vegetation, footpaths including the European trail E4, Forest Boundary stones, ancient bridges, abandoned watermills, wineries, streams with their names, toponyms, quarries etc.
